Ascend didn't start with a business plan. It started with two people who kept failing at fitness apps — and decided to build the one they actually needed.
"We're not building a fitness app. We're building what shows up for you when you don't."
Our philosophy.
No pivot, no pivot, no pivot. Just two founders who got tired of starting over.
We both tried every major fitness app on the market. We started strong, hit week three, life happened, and we were back to zero. Not because we lacked discipline — because the apps lacked intelligence. They gave us plans but never adapted. They tracked our calories but not our lives.
The idea for Ascend came from a single frustration: every app treated us like we had perfect weeks. We don't. Nobody does. What we needed was a coach — not a checklist. Something that knew when we were running on three hours of sleep and adjusted accordingly. Something that celebrated the messy Wednesday workout as much as the perfect Monday one.
So we built it. Ascend is the app we wish had existed when we were starting out — and the one we're committed to making better every single week.
Two co-founders. One shared obsession with building something that actually works.

Visionary behind Ascend's product direction and user experience. Obsessed with building tools that genuinely change how people feel about themselves.
